Ground Veal Greek Kofta Kebabs

Couldn’t be easier or more authentic, these Greek Kofta Kebabs come together in seconds and wrap deliciously around a stick making it that much more fun to make and serve! With such easy high quality ingredients this is the perfect handson dish to make with kids! Simple, fun and delicious serve alongside fresh pita bread and hummus for a delicious mediteran meal!

Ingredients :

  1. 1 lb Ground Veal, Thawed
  2. 2 Tablespoons Greek Seasoning
  3. 8 Ounces Frozen Chopped Spinach, Thawed and Pressed To Remove Water
  4. 1⁄3 Cup Feta Cheese
  5. 3 Tablespoons Kalamata Olives, Minced
  6. 1⁄2 Teaspoon Pepper
  7. 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  8. 6-8 Skewers ( If Using Wood, Pre-Soak )

Directions :

Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium mixing bowl combine ground veal, spinach, greek seasoning, minced kalamata olives and feta cheese; divide mixture into 6-8 skewers and shape each portion evenly into a slight log shape using the skewer as the center. Place each skewer on the lined baking dish and lightly brush with olive oil and season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper if desired. Cook in a preheated 350 oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through ( 160 degree internal temperature.) Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving beside fresh steamed pita bread, hummus and tzatziki sauce for a fun Greek inspired dinner!
