After choosing your favorite Bolton Gold Cut, the next step in BBQing the perfect steak is choosing making the perfect mix of spices and herbs to elevate it to the next level. While Bolton Foods choice cuts are incredible with a simple salt and pepper with a nice dollop of fresh butter, elevating your BBQ game with new and different ingredients will take you on a taste adventure.

Garlic and Rosemary Crusted Bolton Gold XL Rib Eye


  1. Bolton Gold XL Rib Eye
  2. 3-5 Cloves of Fresh Garlic
  3. 2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
  4. 1 Fresh Lemon
  5. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  6. Salt and Pepper
  7. Fresh Parsley
  8. Butter


In a small dish mix together 5 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fresh Rosemary Sprigs, Parsley, 4-5 Fresh Garlic cloves, Lemon Slices and of course, Salt and Pepper to taste. Mash and crush the ingredients to infuse your Olive Oil.

Place Bolton Gold XL Rib eye steaks in a large ziplock bag and add all the smashed ingredients, rub and cover the steaks in your infusion. Let this rest for a minimum of 2-3 hours, or overnight for maximum flavour!

BBQing the perfect steak requires that you allow your steak to come to room temperature before you put it on a hot BBQ!

After putting the steaks on the hot grill, pour the rest of your delicious marinade over your steaks, flip after 2-3 minutes and set to your desired rarity.

Finish your perfect BBQ steak with a Pad of butter mixed with fresh Parsley.
