Super Simple Oven Roasted Chicken and Bacon Turnovers

Delicious and practically ready made for any snack attack, these super simple oven roasted chicken and bacon turnovers using ready made chicken strips from bolton foods and your favorite frozen puff pastry are so addictive. Just add a few more simple ingredients and your new favorite appetizer or side is ready!

Ingredients :

  1. 10 Pieces Bolton Foods Oven Roasted Chicken Strips
  2. 8-10 Slices of Bacon, Cooked
  3. 1 Package ( 2 Sheets) Puff Pastry, Thawed
  4. 1⁄2 Green Onion
  5. 1 Package Cream Cheese, Softened
  6. 1⁄2 Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  7. 1⁄4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Smoked Paprika, Salt and Pepper
  8. Egg Wash

     

Directions :

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Cut oven roasted chicken strips and bacon into bite sized pieces and set aside. In a medium dish cream together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onion and seasoning and ensure well combined before folding in bacon and chicken pieces. On a lightly floured surface roll out pastry dough and slightly carve out 6 rectangles and add mixture inside of each rectangle, top with additional rolled out pastry and cut fully and stamp sides with a fork to ensure filling stays inside turnovers. Place on a lined baking sheet with ample space in between each turn over and brush with egg wash and sprinkle with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper before placing into a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving, insides will be very hot. Enjoy!
